The 216-acre grounds of Sands Point Preserve Conservancy take guests back to the days of Gatsby. Behind the great iron gates sits the Hempstead House, the home that inspired F. Scott Fitzgerald’s classic, and Harry Guggenheim’s 13th century Norman Manor-style home.
